Back to School Morning Work {First Grade}

What a great start to the day! With Back to School Morning Work First Grade, children get a rigorous, fun and engaging brain workout with literacy, math, number sense, spelling, sight words, language arts, science, and more! This could be used as morning work, homework, in a homeschool setting or for fast finishers. This packet could also be used as a review for second graders, or for advanced Kindergarteners.

Back to School Morning Work: First Grade skills practiced each day:

(Each page contains the following sections)

☀️Date: Write the date.

☀️ Number Sense, Place Value, Sight Words: Look at the ten frame and write the number, trace the number word

☀️ Addition: Count on to add

☀️ Coin Math: Color the correct amount of cents given.

☀️ Number Sense: Count the tally marks and color the number.

☀️Spelling and Phonics: Finish the CVC word by looking at the picture and writing the vowel

☀️ Decoding and Phonemic Awareness: Read the CVC words and color the rhyming pencils

☀️ Writing and Conventions of Standard English: Fix the sentence: highlight the words that need capitals and write the sentence on the line

☀️ Language Arts and Science: Cut and paste simple science sentences in order. These sentences are related to the rainforest/jungle.
