December Morning Work {Kindergarten}

What a great start to the day! With December Morning Work Kindergarten, students get a rigorous, engaging and fun brain workout that practices skills needed in Kindergarten. Children will sharpen skills in sounding out CVC words, addition, number sense, sight words, counting, and more! Each page is jam-packed with activities, and are similar so children get accustomed to the activities and can do them independently each day.

This packet contains fun Christmas graphics so it can be used during those hectic weeks leading up to holiday breaks. You can use this as morning work, homework, in a homeschool setting, or for fast finishers. This resource would also be great for advanced preschoolers or for first grade review.

☀️ Phonemic Awareness, Printing Upper & Lowercase Letters: Look at the picture and say the word. Then, write the missing letters in the word. Words used: vet, pop, cat, ten, cop, rob, pen, pig, rat, box, lip, fin, cob, map, dig, sun, net, leg, wet, man, hen, pot, tub, hut, dip, fox, bin, nut, bed, ran, hog, gum, bus, bat, mop, lid, mud, hat, bib, and log

☀️ Counting & Cardinality, Operations, Composition of Numbers: Count the pictures and write an addition equation.

☀️ Number Sense, Addition & Subtraction Operations: Look at the number and write one more and one less than the number. Use a hundreds chart if necessary.

☀️ Sight Words, High Frequency Word Work: Read it, color it, trace it, box it up

☀️Number Words, Number Sequencing: Look at the number words and cut and paste the next number words in the sequence
