Back to School Morning Work {3rd Grade}

Get ready to get BACK TO SCHOOL! What a great start to the day! With Back to School Morning Work 3rd Grade, children get a rigorous, fun and engaging brain workout with literacy, math, mental math, sight words, facts, and more! This could be used as morning work, homework, in a homeschool setting or for fast finishers. This packet could also be used as a review for third graders, or for advanced first graders.

The pages are all similar, so children can get used to practicing the skills and should be able to do them independently. This gives you time to prepare for the day!

Back to School Morning Work: 3rd Grade Skills practiced each day:

(Each page contains the following sections)

☀️ Date: Write the date

☀️ Mental Math: Add and subtract using mental math strategies. Write the numbers in the tablets.

☀️ Addition & Subtraction: Solve the three digit addition and subtraction problems (with and without regrouping)

☀️ Telling Time: Look at the time and draw the hands on the clock (in 5 minute increments)

☀️ Fractions: Draw the lines and color in the shape to show the fraction.

☀️ Sight Words: Read the sight word, trace it, and find it in the word search. The words used are a combination of 2nd and 3rd grade sight words.

☀️ Language Arts: Look at the words on the glue bottle, determine if they are synonyms, antonyms, or homophones, and color the correct glue stick.

☀️ Fix-it Sentences: Read the sentence and find the mistakes. Rewrite the sentence with no mistakes.

☀️ Fact Sentences: Cut and paste the words to make a sentence.
