March Morning Work: 2nd Grade Skills Practiced Each Day
Each page contains the following sections:
☀️ Date: Write the date
☀️ Word problems: Read the word problems, solve by using addition or subtraction, and write your answer in the pot.
☀️ Addition & Subtraction: Solve the triple-digit addition and subtraction problems with and without regrouping solve.
☀️ Number Sense: Greater than/less than sentences: choose the correct number that fits in the equation.
☀️ Math Questions: Answer the math question and write your answer in the hat.
☀️ Spelling and Grammar: Compound Word Maker: Choose one of the words to combine with the word in the clover to make a compound word.
☀️ Phonics: Rainbow Dipthongs: Look at the picture, choose the correct dipthong, write the word in the boxes.
☀️ Language Arts: Four-leaf Suffixes: Choose a suffix that makes sense to complete the word. You may have to drop the –e.
☀️Writing: Compound Sentence Horseshoes: Choose a conjunction to add to the simple sentence. Finish to make a compound sentence.
☀️History Sentences: cut and glue the words in order to make a sentence. (the rise of Alexander the Great)
