May Morning Work: 2nd Grade Skills Practiced:

(Each page contains the following sections)

☀️ Date: Write the date

☀️ Measurement & Data: Look at the graph and fill in the chart.

☀️ Adding money: write the total amount of the money listed.

☀️ Mental Math: Add and subtract.

☀️ Place Value: Color the value of the number given.

☀️ Language Arts: Read the sentence and choose the correct homophone to fill the blank.

☀️ Phonics: Write two adjectives to describe the word.

☀️ Descriptive Adjectives and Adverbs. Add adjectives and adverbs to the given sentence to make it more descriptive. For example: The frog jumped. The big, green frog jumped quickly.

☀️ History Sentences: cut and glue the words in order to make a sentence. (Ancient India)
