Included in this Resource:

Eighteen word picture cards: To be displayed while learning the vocabulary.

Two question posters: to hang up, practice, and reference as students are learning colors. “¿Dónde está…? means “Where is…” and can be applied to things in the classroom. Someone asks where something is, another student will find the item and answer by saying “Está aquí.”

“¿Qué hay en tu mochila?”means “what is in your backpack?” To answer, children will say “hay (items) en mi mochila.”

Individual School Word Sheets: students practice coloring, spelling, tracing, identifying, writing and constructing each school vocabulary word.

School Word Review Sheets: engaging, hands-on worksheets for students to practice and review vocabulary.

¿Qué hay en tu mochila? Activity: Take a backpack card and read the items that should be in it. Search for the picture cards to match the words and put them with the backpack.

¿Dónde está…? Clip Cards: Read the question on the clip card and use a clothespin to clip the correct answer.

Tengo Activity: Cover the words as you hear them spoken aloud. (Teacher calls out the words and child covers it).
